James and Janeene’s Norfolk Botanical Gardens Wedding Photography

James and Janeene got married August 12th 2007 at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. It was an extremely hot day! Fortunately, the jets at the airport were merciful and didn’t interrupt the ceremony (which happens quite frequently at NBG). Everyone looked great and the wedding was gorgeous.

Janeene’s dress was incredibly cool. Very unusual.

The reception immediately followed at the Norfolk Airport Hilton and James and Janeene took the ride from the NBG to the reception in a great classic car.

The band at the reception was incredible! The female vocalist belted out a version of Etta James - At Last that put the crowd on their knees!

New Wedding Photography Website Area

Just when you thought it was safe to surf my site, I added another area! The reason I did this is because the main portion of my site is rendered entirely in macromedia flash, and this may cause people with dial up connections to get frustrated.

So, I hunkered down in my cave and designed a twin of the main site (a fraternal twin, because they look nothing like each other) so that people with slower connections or the inability to install the flash plugin on their web browsers to be able to view my site.

So, without further yapping on my part. Here is the link to the new website about wedding photography

Hampton Roads Magazine Bridal Show - January 13th, 2008

It was a last minute decision for me to display my work at the Hampton Roads Magazine Bridal Show today at the Founder’s Inn. I’m certainly glad I did though! Thanks to the couples that booked me ON THE SPOT, and especially the couple that wants me to shoot their wedding in the Dominican Republic!

It was a great show for me. It was great to talk with so many interested and motivated couples about their wedding photography expectations, and to be able to show them my work on the great big HDTV I brought with me along with all the pictures from ALL the weddings I shot last season.

Here’s some pictures of the display below. Thanks for stopping by and talking with me! Remember to check out all the Sample Wedding Slide Shows that I’ve put online on the main site. That’s a new product offering for 2008, and they look great on a BIG tv.

I had the pleasure to be in the very close proximity to a display of wonderful flower arrangements, decor, and some of that flower petal voodoo that can only be the work of Daevids . I took 100 or more shots of his work. These are 3 I liked right off the bat.

Sweetwater Cuisine was also right next door and passing out samples of some incredible finger foods. They also were displaying a great variety of main course items as well as salads, appetizers, and the like. Here are some of the things they had on hand below.
