Bay Creek Resort Wedding Photography - Chris and Amy - 9-13-2008

Doing the wedding photography up in Cape Charles for Chris and Amy at Bay Creek Resort and Club was just wonderful! I’ve known Chris for a few years and we’ve played golf together a few times as well, so this made it all the more fun for me. During their planning they REALLY worked me hard looking for their venue, DJ and other vendors. So, it took some time for them to decide on a great many details but once it all came together, it was just a fantastic wedding.
The sunset ceremony was gorgeous, Bay Creek Resort and Club was fantastic, the music was great, flowers were awesome, catering was amazing, and I hear the cake was really good too. (I didn’t try that! Come on! If I were to eat wedding cake a couple times a week or so, I’d be big as a house!)
There were quite a few challenging group photos requested by Amy’s family but I got them all done during the course of the evening and the party went on till the wee hours. Having someone in the family that knows everyone in charge of getting people together for the groups during a wedding is a HUGE help. It takes FAR less time that way and leaves more time for candid wedding photography.

Yes, I have been a slacker on posting to this blog. I’ve been moving my site around to a different server and I didn’t want to update it after I had backed up the database and gotten everything packed to move (so to speak). But, now it’s moved and hopefully I can catch up on ALL THE PICTURES I have to put up here. Stay tuned!
